  1. Hello, 🙂 I've asked a server management company to have a look into this, but they said they didn't find errors in the server logs... (they searched for the http 500 error and the members' IPs). Here are the names of members who experience this problem : éléphant rose (this one just told me now that she experienced the problem right now) Watteau snowy locko Colibri29 3caille aqua897 maloma Alex'Sandra bulle2 philpelpet gali The forum they are trying to access is : https://forums-enseignants-du-primaire.com/forum/243-graffiti/ This forum is not accessible to guests and new members. It can be accessed by other members. Thank you 🙂
  2. Yes, that’s what I thought first, but they have the same issue both on their phone and computer. And it’s happening to about 10 members…
  3. I used the « Sign in as membername » option in the ACP and I could access the forum using their account while they can’t. I also asked them to login with a test account and the problem is the same : I can access the forum using the test account while they can’t. I wonder what can be the reason for this…
  4. They can’t access the forum by clicking on it’s name on the front page. But they still can access the topics insiste this forum, using « My activity streams ».
  5. Hello, 🙂 One member didn’t have access because she had not posted enougth posts to have access to thé forum. This is fixed now. 🙂 I suppose the file is error_log ? (In Centos : /usr/local/apache/error_log) But I didn’t find anything corresponding to the members’ IPs or to the http 500 error. What is interesting is that members sometimes have access and sometimes don’t… (and they don’t use several accounts, they only have one).
  6. Hello, 🙂 Some of my board’s members sometimes can’t access a forum on my board. It’s the favourite forum on my board and one must have posted 5 messages to access it. What can be the reasons why some members have random access to this forum when they should be able to access it all the time ? Is there an option like « Number of members who can access this forum ? » Members say that can’t access the board and they get an error message saying : 2F176/1 error. Another one told me he got an http 500 error. But they can access topics where they have ben quoted. Can you help me fixing this ? Thank you, 🙂
  7. Hello, 🙂 Is it possible to receive an email when a new account is created ? Thank you, 🙂
  8. This happened a few minutes after my community update. 🙂
  9. Hello, 🙂 After upgrading to 4.7.7 today, I noticed that all new posts containing a link were held for moderator approval. I went in the ACP / System / Settings / Posting and disabled Links Filtering option : I had chosen the « Allow any links apart from the links specified » option. Now I use « Allow any link » and it looks like it’s ok. Have you encountered the same problem ? Thank you 🙂
  10. Hello, 🙂 Members say they use Android. They have these grey lines when there are quotes in the posts, in any topics.
  11. Hello, 🙂 I've created a new theme and asked the members to use it, but unfortunately it didn't help fixing the problem.
  12. Hello, 🙂 I've had about 5 accounts recently which had been hacked : - the accounts had been created with my country's IPs. - these are old accounts (one was created for example in 2015). - their last posts on my board is spam (the previous posts had been posted obviously by the board's users) and the corresponding IP is from a foreign country (Russia). This made me first believe that the accounts' passwords were weak and that this is the reason why spammers managed to login and post their spam... So I decided to disable the "Automatically unlock locked accounts when failed login count is reset?" option first. Are there other possible reasons for these accounts being hacked ? Or is this something else, in your opinion ? Thank you. 🙂
  13. Hello, 🙂 Some of my board's members have reported display problems on phones and tablets. They say there are horizontal lines, like on the below photograph : As for me, each time I switch my tablet on, I look at my board in Safari browser and I see my board is 200% bigger than it should be. So, each time, I have to reduce it's size because it's too big. Do you know how I can fix these problems ? Thank you. 🙂
  14. Hello, 🙂 I don't know what is Zapier. Do you know a good tutorial which explains how to use Zapier with IPB ? Thank you. 🙂
  15. Thank you. It looks like this was the solution for me too (I didn't remove the file, just renamed it). 🙂 But I had to edit and publish the menu again to make Links' link appear.
  16. Hello, 🙂 As for me, since the last upgrade to 5.6.6.1, I still can't use Links. In the APC's support section, it says it's not compatible with PHP 8 and I have this message also : Thank you for your help. 🙂
  17. Hello, 🙂 Is there a way to make a search in a forum and then move the topics found to another forum ? Thank you, 🙂
  18. I didn't have access to the ACP. 🙂 Moving the mediatag folder to a "backup" folder gave me access to ACP and the board is now online. Now I need to fix problems. I have this message in the ACP : How can I fix this ? Thank you. 🙂
  19. Hello, 🙂 My community is down after I installed the mediatag application by mistake : I was uninstalling application I saw inactive in the ACP (such as subscriptions, chat) and mistakenly clicked on the button to install mediatag... Now I get this message : I have ssh access. How can I delete this application and have my community back online ? Thank you. 🙂
  20. Hello, 🙂 I searched for their account in the ACP and used the feature "Account actions/Sign in as..." and I was able to access the forums without any problems... Does it mean the problem comes from their computer and phone ? But when I use PHP 7.4, they don't have problems... Thank you, 🙂
  21. I've disabled third party applications (I only have one : Links), I disabled mod_security, I'm using now a default theme, I've set PHP memory_limit to 512M, I deleted the forum they can't access after moving all the topics in a new forum, but these members don't have access to the new forum either... These members say they see this error message : (I've enabled display_errors momentarily) In the server error_log, I have the same error messages + the members' IP. By the way, do you know why there is a number after the member's IP (in bold, below) ? Any other ideas are welcome... Thank you. 🙂
  22. Yes, that's what I thought first, but permissions and files are ok (and it's an image, a thumb file, and another files are ok, so nothing important - my uploads directory is 54 Gb big). Thank you all for your help. 🙂
  23. Sorry, the error message is : The is the only error of this type and it repeated dozens of times everyday@. Why, in your opinion, should the server deny access to this file only ? Thank you, 🙂
