  2. how soon will there me more documentation for GraphQL(Jump to the answer in the video)
  3. When are you going to add ChatGPT bots - seems like all the rage. (Jump to the answer in the video)
  4. Does cloud provide email hosting as well? In addition to setting up piping email? What would be handy is if in the ACP based on my current sites stats usage we could see an estimate - a
  5. until

Suggestion: Post event URL instead of perpetually showing the Link to the event (that is over) it should link to the recorded presentation
  6. until

So what is up with time zone calculations? It clearly says 10:30 AM (PDT) something is way off I came in and seen it was already happened. Please consider some date time conversion https://dateful.com/eventlink
  7. It would be nice at least on the outgoing 'legitimate' email and site communications on activity that these emails may also include site advertisers to offer exposure to new customers of site advertisers. Or another campaign available for advertisers to purchase. Also if impressions or clicks are made from emails perhaps these stats could be provided back to the system and eventually to advertisers portal.
  8. and for a second when I read it I thought it almost looked like a ransom note.
  9. For a novel of text posted in a forum I would rather opt for something like this, where reader could click and choose to speed read the text. https://spritz.com or https://swiftread.com Alternatively would be cool if you could invoke quickly based on OS the text to speech for it to just read you the post. Most of these options obviously are not ideal for every post especially with code snippets.
  10. Grid View better layout more like Our Picks (no truncating forums names) Activity Stream show content with out replies (ability to ignore some forums, pinned topics) Ability to grant permission to a person (or group) to manage set of their forums. (like clubs but in the main forums) Notification queuing so that if an action is required and admin / mod takes action it suspend sending notifications to others since it's been taken care of. Ability to sell advertisement placement in email more exposure to advertisers. Granular pessimistic security around web hooks. Standard JSON object for web hooks payload. Better control to thwart / prevent spammer registrations. ACP ability to have dynamic columns to choose from to see in list form (members)
  11. Ability to sell ads in all email notifications.
  12. un-opinionated html/css and using something like https://tailwindcss.com ability in activity to see all un-replied topics world peace
  13. I think too there are no categories, or Grid View, and the menus navigation under the club are not the same as forums. its like renting out a room (yet no way to monetize it) yea your renter and you use the same front door. I'd like to see more of a cottage or attached granny flat. where the 'club' behaves like a sister site with its own entrance. Members could come and go not have to join I guess unless paid, or private. Heck if the 'club' became successful some magic button that moved the club to it's own IPS suite instance and the two site could share logins.
  14. I have not either. I think a few reasons is that if I migrate an existing set of forums over its a one way thing. If it doesn't go as planned moving forums back is a pain. Also too i think the URLs change which would suck for the forums I am considering since these vendors would have to update everywhere they published links to target forums. If a conversion were to happen all posts & topics should auto add every member to club without user action they shouldn't have to rejoin the club because I migrated the forum and content.
  15. I would say it was @Jordan Miller and his community advocacy along with blog articles.
  16. Suggestion: Ideally once in a ticket system using an SMS service like Twilio to notify user would be most helpful. I would imagine if you asked me additional questions and I was able to respond in real or close to real time it would eliminate the asyncronus approach to submit and wait delays, for all involved. If the cost isn't a business expense you wish to use how about a form that allows you to enter your phone number and the carrier you use and use the carriers email gateway to send email to sms? But maintaining such a of carrier's and format is not ideal and not guaranteed or expedient delivery thru the gateway.
  17. I would like to offer a story in hopes that it is heard. It's tangentially related to IPS. I develop database solutions for customers using Claris FileMaker which is an Apple Company my forum site is a technical community born at a time when Claris was tone deaf with regards listening to their developers and partners. They removed a vital communication - email list serve. Thus my forum was launched, and gained a steady following, and now after 20 years been thriving on the Invision Platform for the past 12 years. Several years ago Claris made some decisions which including introducing their own community which was running on Jive for a long time, it was not with out its quirks but tolerable. A few years back they switch to some Salesforce abomination and which is what is running today. My observations and discussions with others in my community spotlight it was a corporate culture problem, these decisions had reaching tentacles in too many other interactions with developers. Where there was lip service paid and they were simply not listening to the feedback from developers in the trenches - many vowing to jump ship and find alternatives platforms. In the past year and half there has been some very positive change from this stagnate corporate culture - including being much more resolved to be more transparent by inviting feedback from trusted partners with open exchanges of ideas and plans well before they are set in stone and communicated before they are made public. They have switched to an agile release cycle but they are also using the agile methodologies in all departments of the company. at your leisure watch the keynote address from last month. If you're at all interested I've started it at a good point in this video. Feel free scrub back and forth and listen to entire messaging and commitments. It's refreshing and moves us past misgivings of the past. Reading thru this thread I see similarities with this community and the ecosystem that it creates. Not the time now to alienate your trusted developers and content creators. You must focus on what you do best and allow your community to thrive by encouraging investing, focusing lowering the bar to entry for them to provide much needed talent. It's a symbolic relationship and we all can win. I was very pleased when @Jordan Miller came on the seen and started communicating conversing with us; intensions and direction of IPS. This was a much welcomed change akin to that of what other communities have come to realize is the glue that binds us together.
  18. @Feneroin That's worse its punitive for entities who would rather manage cash flow instead. But the base line would have to be flipped and discounts would be applied to longer terms. Example: My renewal $310/year Monthly: $25.83 Quarterly: $77.40 - 3% discount or $75.18 Bi-annual: $155 - 5% discount or $147.25 Annually: $310 - 8% discount or $285.20
  19. If we have lost ability to have private communications and have to thus submit details screens shots and urls or even logs in a pubic forum then you must have an Eyes Only custom editor section in addition to public editor so that only IPS Staff can see the content we post. Which also allows authors to see Eyes Only threads.
  20. Um well this wasn't expected and the pricing has really distracted from the nice fresh look. I really dislike the "annual" pricing renewal and would prefer to have, an option to split payments quarterly or even monthly. The payment terms should be independent of the license agreement - Yes I agree to license yearly but please, — sincerely please — allow us to better mitigate this change. Turns out my renewal is right in the middle the holidays. From a business perspective I would imagine you would rather have a steady stream of revenue instead seasonal highs and lows.

  22. Throw in some JavaScript visual data flow ERD editors... Make it easier for making databases relational. https://gojs.net/latest/samples/dataFlow.html https://gojs.net/latest/samples/entityRelationship.html
