A user edited their post, can I revert the edit?

Well, you would just copy and paste them from the log. There isnt a restore button as such. But at least you would then have the content to copy

Ah ok, well that's good enough, thank you. 

Are there downsides to logging all edits? Does it end up taking a lot of storage space in the database? I'm wondering if it's worth turning it on only for the rare time when I would need it.

Hard to say how large that size would be as it would be highly variable to the variations of edits being logged. If you find value in that and people aren't editing the whole entirety of War & Peace into their post replies, I would guess that the average size is negligible.

Hi @David N.,

If you toggle 'Log all edits made to content and what was changed' in the AdminCP -> System -> Settings -> Posting & Editor -> General -> Edit log, you can always prune edit the log to prevent any over usage of resources on your server.
