Recuring subscription

Is there an option for regular payments?  For instance, can I create a "Sustaining Member" subscription where the member pays x dollars each month - automatically?

Wouldn't this be a subscription set up in Commerce either has a Product or a Subscription Plan?

Thanks, it's a little confusing because I also added "products" that people can purchase to help support the site.  Plus there is donations.  So now I'll end up with three different places where people can go to help support the site.

This is the first Subscription.  It was set to Any for payment method, but Stripe was not showing up, so I unselected all and selected both PayPal and Stripe.  It still does not present an option.

Ahh, nevermind on the pricing issue.  To test it, I set it to 1 penny, Stripe must have a minimum, as I set it to 5 dollars and the option showed up.

Still not sure why I'd pick a subscription over a product the renews.  Is there a difference?

A product subscription has more options than a subscription plan if they are needed.

Think of IPS subscriptions as a no-frills Product with renewals.  It's designed to be simple and easy.
