App won't update

Hi,

I am trying to update an external app (Tapatalk) but although I seem to successfully upload version 4.2.2 it continually says the version is 2.1.1. in the Dashboard and as a result no-one can see my forum on Tapatalk as it is using an out of date version.

I have:

• Checked with Tapatalk support for the correct version for Invision
• Tried completely reinstalling and uploading the latest version (but bizarrely it still goes back to the old version)
• Got a cache on the forum (Cloudflare)
• Recently moved servers

I know the support of Tapatalk is their responsibility but is there anything on the Invision side I need to check? I've just moved servers so could I have directory permissions wrong or be missing some setting that is preventing it updating?

Unless I'm missing something, the latest Tapatalk version for Invision Community 4.2+ is v2.1.1, so the version you see in ACP is correct: https://www.tapatalk.com/download_IPBoard

Where exactly did you get this 4.2.2 version? 🤔

If nobody can see your forum on it, you need to contact tapatalk. As teraßyte says above, that seems to be their latest version (2.1.1)

@teraßyte thanks, this link came from Tapatalk Support and includes version 4.2.2 as an option - https://www.tapatalk.com/download_IPBoard

I have 2.1.1. installed but no users can access my forum on Tapatalk and when I go into Tapatalk Owners console it says "version out of date" so I'm confused if 2.1.1. is indeed the latest version.

I'll speak to Tapatalk support again.

As a guest, I don't see any 4.2.2 link on that page. Maybe you see an extra link if you're logged in? 🙄
