Repeated error in system log "Error: Failed opening required"

Hi,

 

We have had a recurring error in the system log that I can't figure out. Does anyone have an idea of how to correct this or is it just a bug?

Try clearing out the datastore folder and see if that resolves the issue for you

We also had another error showing up, but, now its gone.

Dangerous PHP Functions Enabled Some functions are enabled on your server which have the potential to cause serious damage to your community or server. If you are in a shared hosting environment, some of these functions may bypass the restrictions which prevent one account on the server affecting another. Their presence also increases the amount of damage that could be caused if your AdminCP is compromised. Since Invision Community, and most other web applications do not use these functions, we recommend disabling them on your server, at least within the directory that your community is installed in. You should contact your hosting provider or system administrator and ask them to be added to the disable_functions PHP setting. pcntl_exec popen proc_open

Does this ring a bell? We saw it a couple of days ago and took note, but now can't find it again.

You would need to check that the correct permissions are on that directory there on your server. The error is that the file failed to open, meaning either the server can't find or has permission to open it.

If your server is nearing a storage limit, that would need to be expanded. You may wish to contact your hosting provider for assistance if you continue to hit this and all permissions are OK.

Permissions are correct and we are not low on space. I'd like to disable the widget temporarily. However, I can't seem to find a "Block" that corresponds with that widget_activeUsers title. Can you tell me which block that is or how to disable it?

Keep in mind that while you may not be low in space on your hosting panel or report, the actual storage device may be low. Hosting providers have shared storage devices and what is being reported to you is your allotment but not the physical storage. You would want to contact your hosting provider for assistance.

I believe that is the Recently Browsing block.

Thank you, I'll try removing that block for now and see if the issues resolves.

As for storage, I get my stats from console. We have a dedicated server and keep close tabs on storage.
