Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
VISERA Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Good morning, Today I wanted to update my own community because I have information in the panel about the appearance of an application update https://forum.samnaprawam.com https://mokkaforum.pl But in the morning he receives the message: We are aware of an issue with automatic-upgrading, we are working on solving it now.
Randy Calvert Posted January 3 Posted January 3 You can either wait till it’s fixed or do a manual update by downloading a set of files from the client area, uploading them to your site and running domain.com/admin/upgrade.
teraßyte Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Yes, there is some kind of issue with the automatic upgrade system: You have 3 options right now: Wait for IPS to fix the issue. It happened during the holidays period, so they haven't fully fixed it yet it seems. Do a manual upgrade yourself: https://invisioncommunity.com/4guides/advanced-options/server-management/install-and-upgrade-r259/#manualupgrade If you're not comfortable doing the manual upgrade yourself, hire someone to do it for you.
Jim M Posted January 3 Posted January 3 As mentioned in your account ticket, there is a known issue going on right now. It is only impacting some individuals so you can try and use it, the error happens prior to files are applied so if you run into it, there won't be anything which renders your community unusable. As others mentioned though, you can wait for the fix or do a manual upgrade.
