Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
tmcom Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 I have a new member that has repeatedly quoted on several occasions but used each post for one quote. Or it is most likely he is unaware of the multi quote option, since the + quote bit looks like +quote, instead of + multi quote option and quote option. I know that you want to keep it minimal, (as l do) but new members tend to miss it and give the mods and admin more work.
Nathan Explosion Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 (edited) Maybe utilise merging of concurrent posts? (if the 'work' required is to manually merge those concurrent posts) Maybe advise the user on how to use the functionality correctly? Already advised and put step by step text and images in the "Newbies start here" section up top, but l think he prefers to quote one person in one post then the next ones in the same way. He is posting a lot and could help kickstart my forum after two years of trying, so probably best l merge when l can and grin and bear it. New members who care about my forum may become moderators eventually. Edited April 2, 2023 by tmcom
