We have a use case where we have groups that are private from each other, some members are using the @  tagging and this can tag members from other groups and cause issues. Can we turn this off?

This is not something that is an option within the platform at the present time unfortunately. Please feel free to post up as a suggestion if its something you would like to see appear in future releases

You can use this to exclude certain groups from the listing

Thanks

Can this be set so that a group member can only tag someone in their group?

Can this be set so that all groups are excluded from the listing?

No

So the resource isn't suitable if those are your requirements, sorry.

At the moment we are moderating with a word filter for @ in a loose way. This includes emails which we already had set to moderation anyway, we will advise the members not to use it.

Thanks for this lead. How would I apply this to the CKEditor, as I'm on the cloud?

It's not a ckeditor plugin - it's an IPS plugin, so go into that section of the ACP and manually install it (assuming you are on a plan that allows custom apps and plugins)

That worked, thank you.
