Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Axel Wers Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 How this works? I added there some code, whole my own header, simple text, but nothing changed, even in source code I did not find my snippets.
Marc Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 It should indeed insert that html. Have to checked to make sure you are looking on the correct theme? Also, are you logged in on the front end? (so you are not seeing guest cache)
Axel Wers Posted October 4, 2022 Author Posted October 4, 2022 Yes, I have only active theme, I am logged in on the front and tried two installations on different servers and have the same. I put there simple text or html and it won't show on front-end at all.
Marc Posted October 4, 2022 Posted October 4, 2022 We would need to look further into this for you, however the access details on file appear to be incorrect or missing. Could you please update these details by visiting your client area, selecting the relevant purchase, then clicking "Review/Update Access Information" under the "Stored Access Information" section. We look forward to further assisting you.
Axel Wers Posted October 4, 2022 Author Posted October 4, 2022 OK, try it now. If you will be able, then check Header and Footer in default theme, I put there "MyTestHeader"
Solution Marc Posted October 4, 2022 Solution Posted October 4, 2022 Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention! I can confirm this should be further reviewed and I have logged an internal bug report for our development team to investigate and address as necessary, in a future maintenance release. Hegnauer.io 1
Hegnauer.io Posted October 5, 2022 Posted October 5, 2022 I had the same issue, but manually clearing the caches from the Support screen jiggled things loose. That might tide someone over until @Marc Stridgen's mentioned fix is released :)
Axel Wers Posted October 5, 2022 Author Posted October 5, 2022 I tried clear cache of course but did not help in my case.
Marc Posted October 11, 2022 Posted October 11, 2022 This issue has been resolved in the recently released 4.7.3 version. Please upgrade to resolve this. If you are then still experiencing problems, please let us know.
Axel Wers Posted October 13, 2022 Author Posted October 13, 2022 Thanks, I tried it on two independent boards, it seems to work. I have to hit Clear System Caches in Get Support section after each save of Header and Footer in Theme. Then I see changes on front-end.

Axel Wers Posted October 13, 2022 Author Posted October 13, 2022 Yes, after clearing cache I see changes on front-end, try it on my board, you should have still access.

Axel Wers Posted October 13, 2022 Author Posted October 13, 2022 Yes I tested it as Admin and Guest too. I see changes in my own header after Clearing System Caches. I don't know if this works now correctly, but for me any problem. More CMS works in the similar way.
Daniel F Posted October 13, 2022 Posted October 13, 2022 Please check your emails, a ticket was created with further instructions, because I wasn't able to log into your ACP to investigate this further
