Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
nigeld27 Posted August 26, 2022 Posted August 26, 2022 Hi Invision Friends, I use my Invision site to manage a community of customers for my business. We want to start selling virtual training workshops, and I have been trying to configure the Store to streamline this process. For example, I have used custom fields to customers to choose dates, and we have limits on the number of items (Tickets) that can be sold per date. However I haven't found a way to easily create lists of who bought what workshop, or automate the sending of emails etc. I have subscriptions to Zapier, Hubspot and Zoom but the current triggers and actions don't seem to suit my needs. Has anyone else done this? Thanks, Nigel
Daniel F Posted August 26, 2022 Posted August 26, 2022 Have you looked at calendly? I think that I've seen that few clients are using it. It's probably easier and faster to implement something already existing into IPS than to create it from scratch. nigeld27 1
opentype Posted August 26, 2022 Posted August 26, 2022 Yeah, linking or embedding a third-party solution is probably better. Invision Community has nothing to accommodate such events currently. I am currently using Pretix for online events and conferences, but of course there are many many providers from all around the world. Daniel F, nigeld27 and Chris Anderson 3
