  1. There are no courses in the free trial, and I don't think my user has the ability to create a course. Am I being an idiot and missing something obvious?
  2. Hello. We actually use our Invision Platform as a way to train our customers. We have self-help guides in databases which they search and use to self help. I don't fully understand what this new Invision functionality is - it sounds like we could add interactive training to our offering, which would be good. Is there a demo site that I can use to get a feel for how it works?
  3. When I try to upgrade my site, I get this "There are no applications available to upgrade" error. I still get the upgrade banner on the site though. My sites frequently have issues updating. Last time Jim M had to do something behind the scenes. Could an Invision support person help me, please?
  4. Hi @Adriano Faria. This looks interesting. Is the data collected exportable? Thanks @Matt. I'll try and figure that out - looks like I may need to engage with someone who is a bit more skilled than me to get that going. Thanks all for your input.
  5. Thanks @Marc Stridgen. I could be wrong but the default AdminCP stats are more like site statistics. Is it possible to build a report in Invision to track what specific users are doing? Or track how particular site pages have been viewed the most? If I add Google Analytics it is still aggregated, and I want to be able to track what individuals are doing. I'd like to be able to use data to answer questions at the individual level like "What pages did Nigel access this week", and then I want to answer questions like "What types of pages do [users who are like Nigel] spend more time reading this week?". To be honest I haven't looked at the Zapier integrations for this yet. I'm not sure if the default Zapier connections will give me this information, as it sounds like a lot of Zaps. It would need a new trigger each time a user navigates to a particular page. I'd also need to configured a particular type of database for the Zap action to update in Hubspot or in an Excel sheet or something. I'm willing to do the manual effort if I have to but it would be easier if there was a native way within Invision to track user journeys around the site.
  6. Hello, Is there a way to get (1) detailed analytics on Invision? Even better, (2) a way to connect the analytics to my Hubspot CRM? For (1), I'd like to know who logs in and what parts of the site they visit and use. It would be very useful to know which pages they look at, and what records they view within a database. I'd like to understand our site utilisation in more detail. I would also like to understand what types of users consume what types of content. Does anyone have a good way of doing that? For (2), I guess it could be as simple as downloading an Invision CSV and uploading the objects to Hubspot. I'd prefer a direct integration or Zapier but that is probably expecting too much. Any thoughts or ideas would be welcome. Thanks, Nigel
  7. Hi Daniel, I thought Member ID = their email address. I've just gone into the Invision members area and cannot see Member ID fields. If you are not in front of your computer, this is not super urgent. Perhaps neither of us should be working on Saturday! Thanks, Nigel That worked. I did not know that there was a difference between email address and ID. Thanks @Daniel F, @Jim M and @Marc Stridgen.
  8. A few minutes ago I went onto my Invision site and got a red banner telling me to upgrade. I clicked on upgrade, and as it was going the normal upgrade, it Exited. Unfortunately I did not take a screenshot. Now when I try to go onto my site, it gives a 403 Error. Can someone help, please?
  9. Hi @Jim M, The only third-party app or plug I use is Opentype's Supergrid layout. I do not want to switch this off as it is used everywhere and my entire site will look weird if it is deactivated. I will turn it off if you insist but I don't know why that would impact Zapier anyway. Here are my Zapier steps: 0. Please note there were some steps before this to get the email address from Hubspot and also to ensure that the email address already exists on Invision. 1. I want to add a Secondary Group. 2. The Member ID is my own test email. It does not have the secondary group on it. 3. When I click 'Test' on the Zapier, it gives this error. Please let me know if you need anything else. Thanks, Nigel
  10. Thanks @Marc Stridgen... If I'm not using any code, what do I do? What I mean is: I am using the standard Zapier interface to build my Zap. I haven't custom coded anything (I don't even know how to).
  11. Hi, I'm trying to user Zapier to add a secondary group to users but Zapier keeps returning the error "3S291/2". Has anyone else experienced this? Zapier's troublehshooting suggests this is an Invision specific issue, not a generic Zapier one. Thanks, Nigel
  12. Thanks @Randy Calvert. I will create a requirements document although in some cases I'll have to be vague. I know how we capture the details but I do not know how to 'retrieve' data, and I'm open to where it is stored (as long as it is secure).
  13. Thanks. Any idea who could do this type of development, @Randy Calvert? Thanks, @Marc Stridgen. I am not sure that the Course and Lessons things will help me with this particular issue (unless you are suggested I learn how to do custom development items which I definitely am not smart enough to learn!), but I posted there as I'm interested in that development for another reason so have posted.
  14. Mostly commenting so that I get updates on the thread. We currently use one of our Invision sites as a place to host 'How To' guides for training. We also just tried to configure our store to sell places to instructor-led workshops that we deliver via Zoom. As we working within the HR and training spheres, we have very detailed knowledge of LMS systems, and I do not really understand what Invision are offering and how far down the LMS rabbit hole you intend on going. However I am very interested to find out more and follow these updates. Perhaps your product evolution can support us to evolve our services to our customers.
  15. Hello, Short Question: Is it possible to setup a page with manual coding (or a page with a custom block) that shows a chart on the page, that changes per user? Longer version: My community regularly participates in research surveys - kind-of like personality tests where they answer 50 questions, and then get a report that shows them 6 overall scores based on their answers. Right now, we extract their responses from the survey tool, then manually create charts based on their data in Excel, which we then PDF, and email to them. I was wondering if there is a way of automating the process, i.e. they complete the survey, I use Zapier to automate the calculations and even plug it into a visualisation tool (like Image-Charts or QuickChart) and somehow embedding it on Invision. Can Invision someone lookup their Invision username and filter the chart to just show that? Thanks, Nigel
  16. Thank you for the respnose @Randy Calvert. I worked it out. I created the page in a new folder which I named "Admin", meaning the subdirectory was domain.com/admin/page-name. The /admin is the AdminCP! If anyone from Invision sees this, maybe you should ban people from creating an 'Admin' folder for pages, in case an idiot like me creates it.
  17. Hello, I have tried multiple times to create a page on our site. We have done this many times, it is nothing fancy at all. It is a manual HTML page with no site wrapper and one CSS style guide linked. Whilst the page creates in the admin centre, when I click to 'View the page' or I type in the expected URL, my site says "The page you requested does not exist". I have tried putting some code in, or doing it blank. I haven't been as active as normal on Invision for the last few releases. Has something changed in Invision that means I have to create a page and do something to physically publish it to the live site? Or is there a box I'm not ticking (new box or something I've forgotten to do as it has been a while)? Thanks, Nigel
  18. Thank you @Jim M and @SeNioR-. I'm watching this now although I think I will need to submit a document/PDF. Their IT team just need to tick some boxes to confirm that Invision is secure enough. Is there a PDF or something? Please do convert to a ticket if that is a better. My thanks in advance.
  19. Hi All, We sometimes use Invision for our corporate customers. They log in to read private articles, blogs and reports that we've created for them. These are all big organisations. We've just been asked by one about Invision's security information, i.e. How secure is it, etc? I'm not a security expert so I don't know the words to search for in the forums and help areas. I've been trying to find some documentation on Info Security and things like that. Does anyone have a link to a document that I could share with the customer, please? Thanks, Nigel
  20. Hi Everyone, I am recently onboarded someone to help me admin my site. She needs to be able to use the Page Builder however when it opens a page using the "Open Page Builder" button, or we add ?_blockManager=1 to the URL, it page builder mode does not open. She is using Chrome. I think I have set her up with all the correct admin permissions: The only difference I can obviously see between our browsers is that she uses an Apple Mac laptop. I know absolutely nothing about Macs. Anyone else had this issue? Thanks, Nigel
