OptimusBain Posted February 16, 2022 Posted February 16, 2022 Hello, I think there is a logical problem in the quick registration process. I am using the URL domain.com/register/?noPurchase=1 to allow members to register without purchasing any product. Well, I am logged in the website. If I paste the URL, it will prompt me to sign up. How is that possible? I am logged in, shouldn't it detect that I am logged in and prevent me from signing up again? See the screenshot below, that's what I see when I am logged in and I use the noPurchase=1 URL. Thanks a lot
Adriano Faria Posted February 16, 2022 Posted February 16, 2022 (edited) It was bring to IPS attention years ago in the old Tracker and they said it was there by design. Not a bug. I really don’t remember the reason given though. Edited February 16, 2022 by Adriano Faria OptimusBain 1
Solution Jim M Posted February 16, 2022 Solution Posted February 16, 2022 Correct, this is currently working as intended. Through normal flow of the software, one would not end up here unless they purposely tried to get there.
