how can the internal search engine search for 3 letter words

Hello,

I am contacting you because I have a cryptocurrency forum and we have a lot of 3 letter words, how can the internal search engine search for 3 letter words?

Example: NFT, BTC, ETH ....

Like most search engines, you can add quotes to search words directly. So; "NFT" will search the exact phrase. See if it works for you?

If you are the standard search, you need to be aware that mysql by default is limited to 4 and above chars in searches. So in order to search for 3 letter words, you would need to have your hosting company amend your mysql full text settings. Your hosting company will already be aware, however these are ft_min_word_len and innodb_ft_min_token_size

Have you rebuilt your search index? If not, you would need to do this from System>Search in your Admin CP
