Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Jimi Wikman Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Not sure when this happened, but I just realized that when someone share a page now the system pick the first image in the post rather than the header image? I have several links that even show the reaction since that is the first image 🙂 Is that just me, or have others this as well?
opentype Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 (edited) Which website? I checked the one in your signature. An og:image is in the code but calling it gives an “Access Denied” from Amazon. Edited September 10, 2021 by opentype
Marc Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 Do you have an example of this, so I can see what you mean here? Im not seeing any issues on my test instance here, and if what opentype mentions is the case on all posts there, its likely what is causing your issues

Marc Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 I would suggest addressing these first of all, as they may well be what is causing the problem.
Jimi Wikman Posted September 10, 2021 Author Posted September 10, 2021 Check the default theme, it's the android icons 😉 Happy to fix it if you know why they don't play nice with AWS 🙂
Jimi Wikman Posted September 10, 2021 Author Posted September 10, 2021 Changing to jpg ensures that it works in all areas except Linkedin. Might be a cache.... Nope. Linkedin does not work. But, it's just me then?
Marc Posted September 10, 2021 Posted September 10, 2021 This being the case, it sounds very much like it's a linked in issue, rather than one of your own there Your articles look awesome btw 🙂 Jimi Wikman 1
