kmk Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 (edited) It is not better format of use of space? Then make the title area completely clickable... Not just the text If is so difficult wait for ips innovate "so traditional format"... Why not ips offer more apps with out of the box options that let us adjust the format of some elements? Without involving the use of css or template... Or more 3party apps that let us play the design of format of different pages? Without involving the use of css or template... Jordan Miller Posted March 22, 2021 Posted March 22, 2021 Hey @kmk. I like where your head is at in terms of simplification. Do you have any examples of topic lists that you like?

Is better change to "See last post 15 minutes ago", it can place in one row with bold text, so user will know if they click to the title area, it will open the topic from the first post or not read post. If they click the "See last post XXX" it will open the last post of the topic. Due the author avatar is already placed there, the text "By the blackelk" can be hidden... Some details information will show to user when the topic is opened... In case the user following a topic, they don't need read repeating times who is the author, he will just click to "See last post XXX"....

I know you mentioned wanting it to be native and not use css / edit templates, but this might not be a one-size fits all solution. Perhaps give it a try in your community and see how it functions for a while then circle back with your findings to let us know if it improved click through rate / overall functionality 🙂 If yes I think it's something we can take a closer look at! 🙏

Not just the text The mobile theme on 3.x did that, I didn't like how it changed to titles only on 4.x. I've got used to it now but I did like when the area was clickable.
