Group [Team] Icons Per Theme

Hello,

Would somebody be up for writing a plugin or application which would allow us to use different group [team] icons per theme?

If you have light and dark themes, it becomes difficult to balance these out. I personally feel this should be removed from the group settings in the future and, then become theme related uploads. Until this is considered by IPS, would a dev be able to find a solution for us?

Hello,

You can do it with css changes

E.g. your group Administrators has an image which url contains admin.png

Add new image in the Theme Resources

Override the group icon

.cAuthorGroupIcon[src*="admin.png"] {
    content:url({resource="gicons/admin_dark.png" app="core" location="front"});
}

My memory is very bad, but I think you might have mentioned this to me in the past. It works flawlessly and, is something I hope other people can benefit from.
