You don't need a plugin for this. Edit the group in ACP and add it there.

Yes, Ive already done that and was able to apply the icon to the groups like i wanted, however i dont know how to apply that same icon to the username. Sorry, let me be more clear. It does show the icon across the board in the persons username. It shows it everywhere except in topic view, so adding it to topic view is what im trying to achieve.
August 18, 20204 yr Author edit: i have figured it out, the theme im using had a setting for username formatting to be turned off, turning it on has fixed my issue. Thanks anyways!
