New member follow up emails for 7 days

Is there any way, app or plugin we can use to drip feed content for next 7 days through email for every new member sign up?

To show them whats happening here and how they can benefit.

I tried dev fuse app of "new member follow up", but that only send the PM and not emails.

I have a cron job and a custom script to pull members and send an email.  Would be ideal to be less hacky.  But it works.

While not integrated to IPB directly, you could have an external service like MailChimp or Campaign Monitor to send timed emails after the user signs up.

Once user signs up, you add them to the Mailing List which starts that drip campaign. If you wanted to use Current Feeds from IPB, you would have to set up the templates to pull the feeds before sending, of course.
