Global activity notifications

Hi,

One of my moderators used to have e-mail notifications evry time a new message was posted on our forum (we were on vbulletin).

Is there a way to do the same on Invision community ?

You can review your notification settings by going to Notifications > Settings.  

With that said, are you trying to get notifications on items that he follows? Or are you trying to get notifications on everything? 

If #2, then he's going to need to follow all boards / categories first.

What he wants (i honestly find it kind of crazy) is to get an e-mail notification for every nos post on the forum, so it is #2 :).

I guess he actually mederates "offline" by reading the mails in a specific folder.

So is there a simple way to globally follow a forum and all its categories and posts without having to go everywhere ?

If this is just one user who is requesting a global follow, it's probably easiest to ask him to follow any and all sections he wants to follow. 

It won't take long for him to follow all boards and categories.

I forget how I did it, but I get a notification for every new topic. I don't think I get one for every new post, though, because sometimes I'll find posts I've never seen before in topics for which I've already received a new topic notification.
