Bluto
Let's say I have 2 forums, one is for affiliate threads and the other is for non-affiliate threads and requires approval for the thread to show. - affiliate forum - non-affiliate forum w/ mod approval of thread. A member stops by and posts a affiliate thread in the non-affiliate forum. If I move the thread from the affiliate forum to the non-affiliate forum and then approve the thread, notices get sent out too all the followers of the affiliate forum (original forum) since that was where the thread was originally posted. The only way for the affiliate thread not to be send to the members following the non-affiliate forum is to hide the thread and then un-hide it in the moved forum which in this case is the affiliate forum. Would it be possible for a thread to only go to the followers of the forum it was approved in?
opentype
Sounds like a bug to me. Have you opened a ticket about that behavior?
Bluto
No I haven't. I opened one.
bfarber
I don't see how that is even possible at a technical level. We'll need to review the ticket.
