Attachments per user group

Is it possible to define which attachments each user group can use?  For example:

Member group 1: jpg, png, gif

Member group 2: jpg, png, gif. pdf. mp3

And so on - so each group can have permission to upload only those files they have permission to use.

I'll need to test it for 4.4 before I mark it compatible.
