Thomas P Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Hi folks I want to use the automatic upgrade via ACP to Upgrade to the latest stable version. Unfortunately I got the 4.4 beta presented to which I don't want to upgrade yet. Can I upgrade via ACP excluding the beta? Thanks, Thomas
Nathan Explosion Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 The reason you are presented with the beta option would be because you have this in your constants.php: define('USE_DEVELOPMENT_BUILDS', true ); If you don't want the beta, then remove it/change it to false. Then......if you still don't get offered the upgrade to 4.4.0 then....
bfarber Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 4.4.0 went final, so it will be the version presented to some sites (the notification going out has been staged so some sites will see 4.4.0 as the latest release, while some will see 4.3.6). If you don't wish to upgrade to 4.4.0 (final) yet and are not yet on 4.3.6, feel free to submit a ticket for support and we may be able to assist. That said - we would strongly encourage you to consider going ahead and upgrading straight to 4.4.0. There are many many performance and other improvements you and your users will benefit from.
Thomas P Posted February 20, 2019 Author Posted February 20, 2019 Thanks Nathan, that did the trick ☺️
