IPS 3 -> 4 upgrade breaks friendly URLs w/ some characters

In IPS 3, in my articles database, I had a lot of articles with friendly URLs containing characters such as "χ". After the IPS 4 conversion, these records still appear in the database and listing pages, but if I try to go to the record itself, I get this error:

That page does not exist.
Error code: 2T251/5

Is there anything I can do about this?

Sure. Open a support ticket.

Templates and custom blocks etc would need a bit of work or recreating on a 3x to 4x upgrade, but as @opentype has suggested a ticket is the way to go initially if its throwing a 'Page does not exist' error.  It might actually be something as simple as your .htaccess file may need updating a little bit.

Nah, it's not a template/block issue. Most records will load, it's just the ones that have special characters in the friendly URL that won't.
