Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
MMXII Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 Is there an easy way to blacklist email adresses, so they can't be used for registering? For example: *@abc.* will blacklist all email adresses belong to the domain "abc", no matter if it is .com, .org, .net ... All I found in the AdminCP is an option to whitelist email adresses. That however doesn't help me very much.
GlenP Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 Try ACP - Members - Member Settings - Ban Settings. I don't know if it will accept wildcards but worth a try.
MMXII Posted February 9, 2018 Author Posted February 9, 2018 Oh thanks guys, apparently I was looking at the wrong place.

MMXII Posted February 10, 2018 Author Posted February 10, 2018 Yes, wildcards work perfectly fine. *@domain.* is possible.
GlenP Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 Thanks for the info. I'd never used wildcards so I wanted to be clear that I didn't know if they worked.
