Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
DudeThatsErin Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 I have a few databases from old sites that I want to upload to my server and merge with my new site. All I need is the members, posts, topics and polls. Is there a way to do this? I'm not sure how to copy/paste within PHPMyAdmin or if this is even possible. Please help!
Faqole Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 This can not be done with copy/pasting from the phpmyadmin. This will require a merging script. Not sure if Ipb has one. You can ask, if they do you can use it. Otherwise you can request one to be developed for you.
DudeThatsErin Posted July 17, 2017 Author Posted July 17, 2017 Would I ask the devs or who would I ask?
Meddysong Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 Somebody from here https://invisioncommunity.com/third-party/providers/ or by posting a request here: https://invisioncommunity.com/forums/forum/506-customization-requests/
Ohio Guns Posted July 17, 2017 Posted July 17, 2017 Not sure if you can use the converter to merge two together https://invisioncommunity.com/services/migrate But you can convert your one to another forum software and then use the converter to convert it back in to your other database.

Didn't even think of that. I'll probably do that.
