Cannot access ACP

Hi guys & gals,

First off, I'm a big big rookie regarding IP.Board forums (and forums in general).

I just bought one off (within cloud) yesterday, to my surprise, after purchase, I did not receive any e-mail (you do receive one when you initiate a demo) for the adminACP logs.

I do not have anywhere a "AdminACP login" section on the forum at its current stage.. although I just added "/admin" into the url and did get a login/password page.

I never got asked to input an admin login/password so I tried logging in through my client credentials -- it doesn't work, I've already lost a day on my sub because of this.

Now is it just me being a rookie or there is something indeed wrong ?

This is what it looks like to me... I need to login as admin to access ACP right ? 

I don't see anything -- am I blind or just stupid ? :p

You are not logged in.

yes that is my issue.. I tried logging in with my client credentials -- it's not working ! 

am I supposed to create a normal member account and then login ?

With the IPS login? It's not going to work if your forum has been setup with another name and/or password.

I bought an IPS forum -- that is all I did.

I never received any login or anything -- the only credentials I have is my IPS "CLIENT" credentials.

@Misi I was hoping to get it resolved before staff (as I opened a ticket yesterday and still no reply) --  thanks for your help in any case !

Do you know how long it generally takes staff support to respond to a ticket ? are they reactive?

As weekend you might have to wait longer for communication from staff (including support) which is likely why you didn't receive any email
