Is there any way to prevent reputation from being added to the activity stream.

Some users have complained that the stream is adding too many reputation lines to the activity streams, for example in the user profile etc.
I was wondering if there is a way to prevent it. I have been searching in the ACP and I have not seen any option.

Is this actually possible ?
