kar3n2 Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Hi I added a member to a PM converstion by error ( misspellings) but cannot find a way to remove him. Any ideas please? Thanks if you can help
chilihead Posted March 4, 2016 Posted March 4, 2016 Click on their name near the down arrow above the message.
kar3n2 Posted March 5, 2016 Author Posted March 5, 2016 Just now, chilihead said: Click on their name near the down arrow above the message. I did that and all its says is "send new message"
chilihead Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 That's odd. The inviter should be able to invite and remove.
kar3n2 Posted March 5, 2016 Author Posted March 5, 2016 very odd yes! I need him removed asap too duh!
kar3n2 Posted March 5, 2016 Author Posted March 5, 2016 my only consolation is that he hasnt visited the site since december so hopefully I can remove him somehow before he comes back ARGGGHG
Marcher Technologies Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 In testing, it would appear that one can only remove themselves from the conversation, not anyone else, regardless of if mod or admin. However, you can just log in as that user from your admin panel and leave the conversation.

Roger Yeah. I was trying to include the developer into the conversation but then added someone else with similar name. Oops. So he needs to be removed now but I can't do it sorry about that roger mate you able to remove him being the message starter. Or maybe we just close the email and start a fresh one really sorry my mistake but as you can see I'm trying to rectify it 10 hours ago, Marcher Technologies said: In testing, it would appear that one can only remove themselves from the conversation, not anyone else, regardless of if mod or admin. In your ACP, go to Members > Members. Click on the relevant member's name and then select Sign In from the options on the top. That will take you to the front of your site but you'll be signed in as that member (1), so you can navigate to his messages and remove him from it. Once you're done, switch back to your own account (2).

Maybe I shall just have to delete the messages and start again to @Mahumba

chilihead Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 It looks like Mahumba is the starter and he has this power. I am going to make a suggestion in Feedback that the inviter should be able to remove those s/he invited. I will tag you.
