PrettyPixels Posted November 12, 2015 Share Posted November 12, 2015 I'd like to create a database for stories, many of which will have multiple chapters. Is there any way to either: 1) allow writers to easily insert a page break for new chapters -or- 2) set up the database so writers can add chapters, perhaps by linked records? opentype Posted November 12, 2015 Share Posted November 12, 2015 The most simple solution would be to create a new category for each story. Then the records in that category are the chapters of the story. The downside is that categories can only be created by admins. Unfortunately Pages doesn’t allow to give users the choice to create “x” instances of a field yet. So you can’t create a chapter field which adapts to the specific story.
