Mobile Theme disabled by user?

While the new mobile theme really rocks, it sometimes is not wished by the user.

A lot of members have asked me where they can switch of the mobile theme.

Is that yet possible? If not, could it be implemented in 4.1?

It should still be the default for guests and first-time-visitors with smartphones, but it would be great if the user could choose whether the mobile theme should be used on his mobile devices or not (a simple configuration setting).

There is no mobile theme is there? Just one responsive theme.

Right, there is one theme, with different elements that adapt to three different screen sizes, mobile, tablet, and desktop.

Yes, but I got quite a few complaints from users that they would rather scroll around on their small screen device than losing functionality.

Is there an easy way to configure what will still show and what not in the responsive theme?
Then I would create a second theme that would simply keep everything even on small screens.

What functionality is lost? The responsive theme has the same features across all devices; just displayed differently.

You can copy the default theme and disable responsiveness for this new one (ACP: Customization -> Themes -> Edit (pencil) -> "Custom" Tab first point). So the users can choose now a theme without responsiveness if they want.

Its impossible to make the responsive to actually look half decent
