Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt Monday at 02:04 PM
Writerguysd Posted August 3, 2015 Posted August 3, 2015 I'm new to this company, and am using the cloud-based 40 version. Is there a way to turn off the ability for guests to look at members profiles, and still allow them to see some of the topics?I've looked at all the guest permissions, but don't see away to turn off profile views.Thanks.
Crystal V Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 Admin CP > System > Applications. Look under Core for Profiles and click the permissions icon. You should be able to turn off viewing profiles for guests.
iozay Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 It is also noteworthy that this also disables the staff page(Minus the URL to it).
KentT Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Bringing this question back up. In v4.1.11 how do I make a member's profile visible only to registered users (or better yet, a specific member group)? Quote Admin CP > System > Applications. I cannot find the option for Profiles using this....
Nathan Explosion Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 ACP -> System -> (Site Features) Applications -> System -> Profiles
