EasyPopup is a small app to help you create the modal popups for your site.

Some features:

  • Width/Height for your popup.
  • Transition open/close: FadeIn/FadeOut, SlideIn, SlideUp, SlideDown, SlideBack.
  • Transition speed.
  • Background color.
  • HTML content or upload image.
  • Auto close and show timer on popup.
  • Showing popups every page loads or every X minutes.
  • Waiting for X miliseconds to show.
  • Easy to determine URL where to show popups.

It supports html, thatmeans you can use with iframe.

I don't understand calling popup from a block?

Is this permissions based? For example I can make it pop up for guests every X pageviews to encourage them to register.

Apologies,  missed that :P

I mean, calling the popup from a link that I might place in the side blocks on my forum index

There is permission setting to view popup for member's groups. You can set the popup only shows with guest. But it works with time, not pageviews. You can set the popup shows after X seconds for guest to encourage them to register. Or creating a popup for members to announce, advertise something...

No, it can not get contents from blocks, you need to use HTML.

I would like to see this become based on x number of page views - that way guests can read x number of pages before they get the popup and it can keep appearing every x number of pages until they register. That would be a real benefit. Could this functionality be added @onlyME

Brilliant

Just a thought @onlyME it would be really useful if it could be set to just appear once after x number of page views or alternatively set to appear after x number of page views plus every x further pages viewed until x

So, each popup can have different permissions as far as I understand. So that I can make seperate popups for visitors, moderators or even admins. Right ?

yes, you can create multiple popups, each popups have different permissions.

EG: Popup A for guests, Popup B for members...

Is it possible to setup a popup to show only once for every member? So every member in the selected group(s) just sees it once.

Currently it can not, but I will update in the next version.

V1.0.3 has been released

  • Fix ACP restrictions.
  • If 'Number of page views' = 1 the popup will show only once time.
