I'm currently using a theme for 3.4.6 that we've been using for a around year. I'm assuming that upgrading to 4.0 will break atleast some of the theme (excluding plugins ect). Just wondering to what extent this is? Can't decide if i'm just missing information thats around.

You can't use the theme of IPB3 .. If you bought it from a dev here then they probably will update it soon .. if this is a custom made .. then you will have to start building it up from zero .. although you have your goal already set, so this will not be that hard to tweak all ..
