fadedturbulence Posted January 5, 2015 Share Posted January 5, 2015 Also cPanel has a great backup tool, allows you to backup all databases, files and settings. You should then be able to re-import very easily with the new cPanel.Only other part that needs changing on IPB side is in the config file, the directory path & URL (if folder/file structure changes from server to server) will need to be changed. (And possibly some DB info, if you change something there on the new system)Thats it. It's actually extremely easy to move servers. Also best practice is to have the new server be on the same script languages if possible (mysql/php), lesser chance of something going wrong (compatibilities, etc.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
