Gabriel Torres Posted November 7, 2014 Share Posted November 7, 2014 Hi, I noticed this today. There are some users who are in the "validating" usergroup as they requested an email change. However, some of them are very old, over 200 days. It seems stange to me a user requesting an email change, then he is moved to the validating usergroup, where he doesn't have any posting ability in our forums, and stays there forever... Makes no sense... Afterall, the user was already a valid user before he asked for an email change, so he shouldn't lose his posting ability... If the developers of IPB were afraid of bounce emails, just keep sending the emails to the users' old email address! I think this logic should be changed.
