Invision Community 4: SEO, prepare for v5 and dormant account notifications By Matt November 11, 2024
LIF Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 I am in the process of buying another copy of IPB for a forum that runs phpbb. Just look for when 4/0 will be released so I can buy/convert and get 4.0 without doing it all over again.
Rhett Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 We don't have an ETA, I would recommend converting now and then simply upgrading to 4.0 when it's released though.
Rob. Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 I did the same thing with my forum, I wanted to wait for IPS 4.0 but in the end I thought I'd use 3.4.6, especially since it needs to go through beta and into stable release before I upgrade to it :)
LIF Posted August 27, 2014 Author Posted August 27, 2014 Will do. Any discounts for repeat customers? I notice a coupon code at check out.

Dmacleo Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 If you're up to date with renewals then you will get the update for free this is for an additional license I am in the process of buying another copy of IPB for a forum that runs phpbb.
Rob. Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 this is for an additional license Renewals for a license is every 6 months to get updates, so as long as IPS 4 doesn't take 6 months to come out then he'll be able to update it for free :)
Dmacleo Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 hes asking if there is a deal for buying a second license not if he can upgrade for free when it comes out. he still needs to buy the second license.
