TSP Posted October 8, 2013 Share Posted October 8, 2013 Google regularly contacts us due to violation on their rules for what content you can display google ads on. We've only been contacted about topics. So far, I've just quick fixed it, but I don't think this is the optimal solution in the long run. What I think would be better is that IPS could provide an in-built system. Then we could add items and urls where certain (or all) ads should not be displayed. That way you would also "enforce" that mod authors would hook into that system for their own advertisement plugins. I believe this is a pretty specific need and you should expect to use a plugin to accomplish this. In 4.0, however, you could elect not to show (specific) ads in specific forums for instance, if certain forums are where these topics are being posted.
