What exactly are you looking to optimize? I think it's probably quite difficult to do a lot of optimizations on a "shared hosting" service. But there's plenty of people around here who know more than me so they should be around soon to help you out.

move away from shared hosting is best optimization.

I tried shared hosting for like a day, and didnt like it. Definitely move to a VPS
