i have a server 2x 1TB SATA2

but noticed it has only partitioned 20GB :S

dev/loop0 4.0G 145M 3.6G 4% /var/tmp

/dev/md2 911G 15G 851G 2% /home

/dev/root 20G 11G 8.5G 56% /var/named/chroot/usr/lib64/bind

anyway i can partition the rest without loosing any data?

You're sure they're not in a RAID1 (mirroring) setup, were 2 x 1TB equals 1TB, as they are mirroring each other?

It's definitely a raid configuration, as /dev/md2 is present and mounted to /home.

Which is a ~1TB device.

/dev/root is mounted to /var/named/chroot/usr/lib64/bind

You still have your 1TB available.

There's your answer then. You only have 1TB.

jum okey, seems every time i add a site that dev/root gets more filled up so i want to make i don't have problems latter on

Can you give the full output of df -Th and also fdisk -l?

This would give more information, but yes it looks like your partitions might be messed up. Is this an OVH/Kimsufi server?
