Stenis
When clicking the top icons, Messenger and Notifications, there is no "X" or close button on the window that appear. This is from a logical and user perspective essential. Far from everyone gets that you can click somewhere (anywhere) outside the window to close it but that is not intuitive. Management Matt Posted May 5, 2011 Management Share Posted May 5, 2011 Do Mac or Window drop downs have a close button? Clicking away from a drop down menu is quite a natural movement.

Matt, you are right, but this is not yet consistently implemented throughout all IP.Board popups (e.g. the poll form, which requires to click the 'finish' button, also if you do not add a poll. On the other hand, the quick navigation menu has a close button..)

Pete
...Clicking away from a drop down menu is quite a natural movement. And exactly the same action as you would have to do with a dropdown menu in a non-web based application (see the File menu in Internet Explorer or any other windows app for that matter). You've been doing it for years already. sorry.wrong So in fact you're wrong :P ;)
