IPB 3.2: Topic View, User Info

Please, return the "user info" states back to the topic view. While it may have been seen as not very useful, I've found it very helpful ... I just miss this feature as I noticed it was missing in the IPB 3.2 test board. I agree that the "interests" feature was useless, but, the members on my forums like having this "brief user stats" attached to their user info.

I like it as is in 3.2, actually. I'm sure something can be done in custom profile field tools.

I actually stripped my skin down from them to give the cleaner vision (and less scrolling) when reading topics, like the new 3.2 does. I found that if people want to look at stats and suchlike, they can click the image and go through to the user profile to see them. Even a quick look at this topic shows you how much space it saves.

It's exactly the same info except they removed the join date.

Custom profile fields still show on the left if you have any set up. We've removed the join date, and just changed the way the other data is shown so it's not as verbose :)
