Gunnar94 Posted October 30, 2011 Author Posted October 30, 2011 OK, seeing as the third time was not the charm, hopefully the fourth will be! For BETA 4, I have done the following: - Updated the installer to create the auto awards table if it does not exist. - Updated the system to CHMOD the auto_award files directory if it needs to. - Made the system look for php files in the auto award files directory, instead of excluding specific files. It then checks for the required class. That is it, and hopefully this BETA is the last before the full release.
Viper V2 Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 I still get error message listed above when I have the sig view enabled and I get a driver error when I try and click on Auto Award in the ACP?
Gunnar94 Posted October 31, 2011 Author Posted October 31, 2011 Is this occurring with BETA 4? What is the error?
Viper V2 Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 yes, I upgraded to Beta 4 and the error is the same ones I mentioned above on post #269. I also get a driver error when I click on the Auto Award feature in the ACP

Viper V2 Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 it would be a complete pain in my you know what because I have over 300 member with awards and then re installing them and then having to give them out would be horrible.
Cozza Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 topthrillkid, Are you planning to add support for FURL's? at the moment awards is my only app that doesn't have it :(

Try using your "Template Tools" in the ACP to rebuild master skin data for the application (inv) Awards. topthrillkid, Are you planning to add support for FURL's? at the moment awards is my only app that doesn't have it  I suppose.

That did not work for me and I still get a driver error on Auto award, not sure what the problem is as I have never had an issue with this app yet.
Mister Blonde Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Did you do this; delete _notes in your directories and Run this query, add your database prefix to it, it may fix it. CREATE TABLE inv_awards_auto_awards ( `inst_id` mediumint(8) NOT NULL auto_increment, `award_id` mediumint(8) NOT NULL, `title` varchar(35) NOT NULL, `type` varchar(25) NOT NULL, `data` text NOT NULL, `notes` varchar(150) NOT NULL, `enabled` tinyint(1) NOT NULL default '1', PRIMARY KEY (`inst_id`) ); Just bringing up some previous fixes of errors.
Mister Blonde Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Some more feedback :) On the Award tab on profiles it doesn't say the description which it probably should :D
Gunnar94 Posted November 2, 2011 Author Posted November 2, 2011 A description for each award, where it currently shows the notes?
Mister Blonde Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 A description for each award, where it currently shows the notes? Indeed that is correct. It would fit well there.
Gunnar94 Posted November 2, 2011 Author Posted November 2, 2011 Ok, that option can be added. Are you currently using 2.2.4 BETA 4? If so, is it error free?
Subdreamer Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Hey topthillkid, I'm using 2.2.4 BETA 4 and not able to use batch/bulk awards (Give 'X' Members a Certain Award). Only 'Give 'X' Awards to a Member' works but it's not so practical to give an award manually. :)
Mister Blonde Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Yep currently using Beta 4 and I've not seen any problems so far :) (I've got awards, automatic awards been giving awards seems all good)

Viper V2 Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Are you getting an error? I do get errors, both with awards in signature and then auto awards, I get a driver error. I sent you a PM. Have you been able to take a look?
Subdreamer Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Are you getting an error? It's weird. I tried it again and now seems to be working.
Benny. Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 beta 4 working here, very nice update, although upon showing awards in signature, it throws the page 100% width
makus Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011     :nuke: 2.2.4 Appear )
