Suggestion: Delay "This post has been edited by"

My users are complaining about the text "This post has been edited by" when they edit a post just seconds after making the post. There should be a way to delay this so that "This post has been edited by" is only displayed if the post is edited say 1 or 2 minutes after the post has been made, thereby not cluttering the post if the poster just after posting discover for example a spelling error.

I've seen similar suggested before :) , I do agree a sort of grace period of a minute (not much longer or there is little point) is ideal before the line is shown.

Better would be to only show the line if the post has been edited since last read.
