May 31, 201014 yr Can you explain this in a little more detail please Wolfie? I also would prefer it to say update.
May 31, 201014 yr Just edit the language bit. ACP, Look & Feel, Manage Languages, (pick language). In there, System tab, scroll down to public_global and click that. Then edit the _rarr to say "Submit" :)
May 31, 201014 yr Author Just change it in the language settings. core/public, _rarr I know how to change it, I was just suggesting IPS Changes it. In the profile view it is a update button not arrows.

June 1, 201014 yr Wolfie - you wouldn't want to do that. That would make EVERYWHERE in IPB that uses the right facing arrow say "Update" instead.
June 1, 201014 yr Current: [img] [/img] After: [img] [/img] What you think? I think it makes more sense from a UI perspective I agree that the Arrow Button is NON intuitive. However I propose to change the word to Publish!. Previously my forum had an Update button for status, newbies thought "update" meant that it will "update" (ie AJAX style refresh) that section of the screen. We ended with a lot of "What's on your mind?" in many newbie's status. I changed the button label to Publish! and the problem went away.
