IPS Topsites?

No idea if this as been suggested before but could/would IPS be interested in making another addon with all the other addons they have called IP.Topsites?

IPS had a Topsites app way back in the olden days, doubt it will be making a comeback. Are Topsites addons relevant in today's internet?

purely a list of sites based on one subject.

And IP.Links can't do this because... why exactly?

Not like IP.Links in it's current state - as a topsites monitors the number of times the image for a particular site is shown - http://www.soccerlinks.net/TheHitList/ is one example.

it also is a good advertising tool for sites that run it.

I am sure it could probably be altered to do that role though.

I haven't seen a topsites system in use in literally years. Seriously, it makes me think of the internet circa 2001-2002.
