cofee_iv Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 iTweeter is a simple application that adds another page onto your website called Twitter, from this page your members can view recent tweets you have made. Stupid question here... who sees whose tweets? They can only see the admins? Not sure I understand how this works exactly.
Andy Rixon Posted April 22, 2010 Author Posted April 22, 2010 It will show any tweets made on the twitter account that has been used for iTweeter
tAPir Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Thanks Andy. I had been thinking of which way to add my twitter account to the board. It was so easy with iTwitter :)
Andy Rixon Posted May 10, 2010 Author Posted May 10, 2010 Development for iTweeter for IP.Board 3.0.x have been discontinued, I will be consantrating on IP.Board 3.1.xShould a security issue be found, please PM me and I will package it up and add it to this topic.
Fallen Again Posted December 23, 2010 Posted December 23, 2010 Have been customizing the colors for the fields and the text, seems everything is properly changing *except* the "Tweets Link Colour" value. Regardless of what i punch into the text box, it doesn't want to accept the change. Am using the latest version of your app (downloaded it directly today).
odevriese Posted December 29, 2010 Posted December 29, 2010 Hi there, The iTwitter.png seams to be missing in the archive. I've found this file instead: admin/skin_cp/_newimages/applications/iArcade.png ?! Could it be possible to opt for a hashtag in place of a Twitter Username and to choose how many tweets to display? Thanks
Andy Rixon Posted January 6, 2011 Author Posted January 6, 2011 Thanks, I will get that fixed. I can look into it, and see what I can do in the next version :D
TracyIsland Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Hi - This looks intriquing. Tried to use the link on the IPS Marketplace page for the demo and it results in an error. Other question: can we rename the tab to something else? Something like "Our Tweets?" Thanks, Brian
Andy Rixon Posted February 27, 2011 Author Posted February 27, 2011 Thank you for telling me about the demo, I must have forgot to sort out the new demo site. As for the name, yes that can be changed easily in the AdminCP.

AFootballForum Posted March 8, 2011 Posted March 8, 2011 Fatal error: Call to a member function showTweets() on a non-object in /home/afootbal/public_html/forum/admin/applications_addon/other/iTweeter/modules_public/iTweeter/iTweeter.php on line 45 This is what i get?
Andy Rixon Posted March 13, 2011 Author Posted March 13, 2011 This means you do not have a skin set as "root". Try setting a skin as root by clicking the drop down next to a skin and edit settings then reinstall iTweeter.
Millipede Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Have been customizing the colors for the fields and the text, seems everything is properly changing *except* the "Tweets Link Colour" value. Regardless of what i punch into the text box, it doesn't want to accept the change. I've just installed the latest version 1.0.1 (downloaded 2 days ago and installed today) and I'm getting the same thing. According to Firebug, it seems to be taking it from this:#twtr-widget-1 .twtr-tweet a { color: #1985B5 !important;} I've looked everywhere in the skin files, including the twitter ones, but can't find it. The rest works OK though. Is it a bug or is there a file somewhere where one can fix it?
Andy Rixon Posted March 30, 2011 Author Posted March 30, 2011 Sorry this must be an oversight on my part, I will release 1.0.2 to rectify this problem shortly.
Andy Rixon Posted September 20, 2011 Author Posted September 20, 2011 Sorry, this is embarrasing, I actually forgot about iTweeter, I will get an update out within the next few days. Again and sorry for the inconvience.
