Management Charles Posted March 25, 2010 Management Posted March 25, 2010 Thanks for the great proof on concept for how it saves you time in making a skin :) If you find bugs please post them in the tracker so we can fix them. We hope to have the Skin Generator polished up by 3.1's release.
Sasha White Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 I have silly question,. I used the skin generator, got my color scheme and everything the way I wanted, exported it, then imported up on my Admin CP, and now hove NO CLUE how to actually make it visible? The board still is in default. I can select the skin under look and feel, but then I have to edit the css..so if I do that, whats the point of the skin generator? Is there any simple step by step instructions anywhere. (Other than broni's that takes three hours and only gets the first page, and not the posting rooms changed?)

Michael Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 first I want to thanks Micheal for this Generator , after using it I noticed only one bug in exporting skin it is in primary_nav ul li.active Just as a quick heads up, that issue should now be fixed. If you download a skin from this tool as of now that shouldn't happen anymore. Glad you're liking it so far! :)
krstep Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Just on off-topic suggestions. The skin generator should be make public for new customers that want to try it in the demo.
Andrej Posted March 26, 2010 Posted March 26, 2010 Very nice skin you made using the generator! How nice! :)
skintest Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 When I try downloading a skin, I am told that one needs a licence, but I have one.. I don't get it what must I do ? I want to download a skin from http://community.invisionpower.com/index.php?app=core&module=skingen :(
AndyF Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 When I try downloading a skin, I am told that one needs a licence, but I have one.. It will only be available to those with an active support contract as far as I am aware, :) and you're showing to be in the 'members' group, I do not think alternative contacts can use it (if you are one?) Submit a ticket or contact accounts@invisionpower.com if you feel this is in error.
Collin S. Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 When I try downloading a skin, I am told that one needs a licence, but I have one.. You need to log in to the forums using the same email address that you use in the client center. If you still are having issues, email accounts@invisionpower.com and we can get it looked into for you.
