  1. I was missing the exact same thing and left feedback about it during the 4.0 beta period, but I didn't get any response either. Perhaps it was missed out, but it seems it is not missed by many. EDIT: I didn't see the date of the topic. Need more coffee.
  2. I second that. A command-line importer would certainly be of benefit, especially for big forum conversions. Running off command line is generally more "stable" and quicker, out from experience with other forum scripts. I have personally witnessed a five million post forum converting in about 10 to 11 hours, and that is far from perfect, and I believe improvements could be made here.
  3. Perhaps, move "Our Community" to where "Forums" is, so you can free up some valuable space? At the same time, moving the secondary navigation more left would make it look a bit odd if the first-level navigation is still at the same place. So I dont know.
  4. Bugs are reported here -> https://community.invisionpower.com/4bugtrack/active-reports/
  5. There was a 'Feature Plan' page previously which outlined the IPS plans to release an updated IP.Chat with multiple rooms:
  6. Keywords: individual topics.
  7. It would be the same thing as flood control for posts. Only for topics. x topics in a 15 min. period for instance, or x topics in a hour, etc. I dont see any problem as long as it is setup correctly.
  8. A topic creation limit per hour/day could solve this (partially).
  9. You can request features here: http://community.invisionpower.com/forum/481-product-feedback/

  11. You have purchased a license which allows you to use the software You do not "own" it. https://www.invisionpower.com/legal/standards#license However in order to access any newer version past your renewal date you will need to renew, as mentioned above.
  12. Yes, it is gone. The editor is now fully WYSIWYG and you can preview your post in the editor in real-time.
  13. Both are filled as bugs: http://community.invisionpower.com/4bugtrack/chat-external-links-opening-on-chat-window-r5017/ (fixed for 4.0.1)http://community.invisionpower.com/4bugtrack/chat-you-have-been-kicked-r5023/ (pending)
  14. The cost for IPB to include Redactor is one time fee of $499, which is hardly a huge investment.
  15. Switching to Redactor is quite an undertaking, however I would like to see it replace CKEditor in the (near) future. No, I really appreciate the work that was done to implement CKEditor into 4.0 but I feel that Redactor is better than CKEditor. Maybe I am wrong. There was a discussion on this on the IPS4 Preview Board, so I figured I put this as a suggestion here.
  16. That would also be useful in Q&A forums as well.
  17. They are still there. Admin CP -> Members -> Staff -> Moderators -> Moderator Logs Admin CP -> Members -> Staff -> Administrators -> Administrator Logs Admin CP -> System -> Support -> Error Logs / System Logs http://monosnap.com/image/68jIzIFWTFdYYuws75l0e7tcVugaZZ.png There is a search bar in top right. If you enter 'Error Logs' for instance, it will find it if you cant.
