TrixieTang Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Multi-quote allows you to quote multiple posts, quote just quotes a single post.

Wolfie Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Got it, I feel stupid. Thanks. It's a hard function to figure out at first, but once you know it, it's something you find yourself using often. Lots of people don't get it at first, so no need to feel stupid about it.
iozay Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Its also handy for quoting a post in a different topic. It isn't just bound to the one where you are posting :P
Andy Millne Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Its also handy for quoting a post in a different topic. It isn't just bound to the one where you are posting :P Even though I'm aware of this functionality I still find myself typing "As x put it when he said 'bla bla bla' in x topic" Like all new shortcuts I guess for a new user it's probably quite fast to pick up but old habits die hard. Like when I got my posh new Logitech mouse I had to make a real effort to get into the habit of using the shortcuts on it. Because force of habit draws you to the back button etc.
